About The Position

Responsibilities: Coordinates with the warehouse team to move required ingredients and materials based on the production schedule. Accurately enters real-time ingredient and food contact material data (product description, lot codes, weight, quantity, etc.) into the company’s ERP system (BC) before transferring to production. Physically moves ingredients and materials from the hallway to the production floor’s point of use with hand jack lift and ensures the pallet has the proper pallet tag. Ensures the placement of ingredients and materials is efficient, remains organized, and consolidated as needed. At changeover or end-of-shift, transports remaining materials and ingredients out of the production room and records the item description, remaining quantity, and item lot code back into the system to ensure inventory is accurately accounted for. Sends the items back to the warehouse and ensures the pallet has an updated pallet tag. Works with a sense of urgency while supporting production goals and maintaining a quality product. Restore duties to include checking the weight on scale, enter return amount in NAV and update pallet tag to accurate amount Maintain restore & pre-prep log to ensure proper product rotation and placing priority on restore inventory to be used first Monitor inventory listed in pre-prep and restore; correct any inaccuracies both in the log and on the pallet Verifies inventory is being pulled using FIFO methods; collaborates with warehouse team if the wrong lot code was pulled Follows production guidelines for food safety, food quality, and workplace health and safety. Follows all GMPs and SOPs. Completes all required HACCP and prerequisite documentation in a timely manner and follows the HACCP plan Inspects all materials for quality and consistency and communicates issues timely to line leads or supervisor.

Requirements

  • Food production or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Computer and data entry skills required
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Ability to read and understand written and verbal English instructions

  • Hourly rate: $ 21 with potential for increases at 3 months and 6 months
  • Shift Hours: 1st shift: 6am-4pm M-Th; Overtime is mandatory
