Plans and controls quantities for assigned logistic processes, inventories and stocks, to ensure a 100% availability of all input factors and to contribute to superior logistic process quality. Coordinated a cycle count program to identify necessary recounts, discrepancies, and processes to be monitored and provide regular reports on results. Ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review. The Inventory Control team oversees multiple sites and may require some travel. The two main sites are Palo Alto and San Jose, coverage may be needed to where the individual must spend a week or two at another location. Performed thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and applied solutions. Worked with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures to proactively optimize inventory accuracy and efficient production processes. Coordinated with internal and external auditors to ensure inventory compliance. Developed, implemented, and monitored all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely. Audits incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy. Coordinated with the Accounting Department to help resolve Manufacturing Variances and Rework Balances. Handled multiple projects aimed to improve rapid response of material movement. Created customized SAP reports to be proactive in catching discrepancies before cycle counts or work-center notifications and prevent red-lights.

Requirements

  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) and/or 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Ability to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.

  • Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product (e.g., SAP) and productivity software desired.
