About The Role: As a Production Intern, you’ll help connect Veterans and Service Members with Loan Officers as they begin their homebuying journey. You’ll be one of the first points of contact, gathering important financial information, answering questions, and helping borrowers understand what to expect next. It’s a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll build real-world skills in communication, analysis, and customer service while making a meaningful impact.

Requirements

• You’re detail-oriented and take pride in getting things right the first time.
• You’re curious and analytical, and you enjoy reviewing information to help make informed decisions.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to manage your time effectively.
• You provide exceptional customer service and genuinely enjoy helping others.
• You show up consistently and can be counted on to get the job done.
• NMLS licensed or become licensed upon employment.
• Available at least 15 hours per week during the school year.

Responsibilities

• Interview borrowers to collect and verify financial and credit information needed to start the loan process.
• Educate borrowers on the loan process and explain product and service options in a clear, helpful way.
• Review borrower credit information to help determine pre-approval or denial decisions.
• Process borrower credit details through our online approval system with accuracy and care.
• Make initial contact with borrowers and respond promptly to questions while gathering required documentation.
• Support special projects within the Production team to help improve processes and team success.
• Pitch in wherever needed to help foster a supportive and collaborative team culture.
