About The Position
Westaff is looking to hire a Production Helper for a Manufacturing company located in Portland, CT! Are you looking to kickstart your career in manufacturing? No experience needed! Willing to train the right candidate! Hours: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 3:30pm-11:30pm WILL TRAIN FOR 1 WEEK ON FIRST SHIFT Pay: $17-18/hr depending on experience The responsibilities and requirements of the Manufacturing/ Production Helper are:
Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to get along well with other team members
Responsibilities
- Trimming plastic parts and packing them into boxes.
- Loading/unloading material, finished products & supplies
- Sorting, labeling and organizing incoming shipments/inventory counting materials for inventory keeping work areas clean
