DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) Packages product for shipment Rotates parts from the stripping process to the wash bay, RP, dry-off ovens, and packing area Load hand baskets and rotate parts from one basket to the other Participates in continuous improvement activities Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Ensuring highest level of safety standards Effectively, timely, and respectfully communicate and interact with other employees and supervisors General housekeeping of the plant and surrounding areas Comply with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safe handling practices as required from Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and company procedures Follow WHMIS, SDS, and all other safety training requirements and procedures Follow all government and regulatory requirements when handling and transporting chemical materials Fostering a positive work environment Regular and sustained attendance Perform other duties as assigned or needed QUALIFICATIONS 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience [prior certification preferred] Ability to read and interpret documents (i.e., safety rules, operating, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate well with Managers, Supervisors, and employees Knowledge of tools and equipment Excellent customer service skills Working knowledge of ISO, OSHA, and EPA regulations preferred A professional and positive attitude Able to lift 50 lbs. Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Standing and /or walking a minimum of 6 hours of an 8-hour shift. Experience in the Coatings Removal industry a plus! Requirements

  • 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience
