Production Group Lead IV

A Day in the Life The Production Group Leader is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations within assigned production areas, ensuring that production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. This role coordinates team activities, monitors workflow, and resolves operational issues to maintain efficient and effective production. The Group Leader provides guidance and support to team members, facilitates training, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, the position serves as a key liaison between production staff and management, communicating goals, tracking performance metrics, and implementing process enhancements to achieve business objectives. Requirements
- Requires minimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
- May require vocational training and/or certification.

Responsibilities
- Leads production team work process, equipment testing, manufacturing, disassembly, and reassembly as assigned by supervisor.
- Prioritizes use of operators according to build schedule.
- Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor.
- Coaches operators/assemblers on production and problem solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup/breakdown as needed.
- Ensures Medtronic company quality and safety standards are upheld.
