About The Position

Join our team as a Production Foreman, for the Inorganic Pigments Business Unit (IPG), leading daily operations to ensure safe, efficient and reliable plant performance. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll support personnel and maintain high safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science or a closely related field.
  • 5 -10 years of relevant experience.
  • Mechanical skills with ability to make minor fixes on equipment.
  • Practical electrical knowledge.
  • Current computer skills.
  • This is an ON-SITE position located at the Starpointe Plant in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory experience a plus.
  • Prior experience using SAP and Microsoft programs is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Blending Operations.
  • Assign operating personnel to ensure that customer demands and HSEQ requirements are met through Lead Operators.
  • Assist in training of operators and verify effectiveness of training.
  • Assist Production Planner in utilizing the equipment efficiently to adhere to the production schedule.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment including regularly scheduled PM's.
  • In the occurrence that the equipment cannot be repaired contact vendor and coordinate scheduled repair times.
  • Asssume responsibility for snow removal and winter maintenance of the facility.
  • Backup responsibility for security and related matters 24/7 for facility.
