About The Position

The Production Estimator supports successful project execution by ensuring accurate pricing and documentation. This role manages job scrubs, releases, change requests, and purchase order updates, requiring strong attention to detail and data accuracy. The position is primarily independent and computer-based, with periodic collaboration through internal meetings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with 4+ years’ experience in data auditing or processing or Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, Applied Science, or Civil Engineering with 2+ years’ experience. Estimator experience in construction/homebuilding is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Advanced math and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with strong multitasking ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Estimator experience in construction/homebuilding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct job scrubs to ensure product, takeoff, supplier, and pricing accuracy before PO releases.
• Complete job-specific takeoffs not pre-setup in the system.
• Follow up on missing bids and documentation.
• Complete job release processes for assigned jobs.
• Maintain organization of the SCB Production Inbox.
• Perform slab re-estimates as needed.
• Communicate updates and information to the Preconstruction Department and VP of Preconstruction.
• Attend meetings and provide requested reports.
