Why this role matters Reliability on the line drives output, quality, and safety. Your expertise keeps assembly assets running and improves them over time. You will be a go-to partner for production and engineering, closing the loop from issue to root cause to prevention. Core responsibilities Execute both reactive and preventive maintenance on semi-automated assembly machinery, including pneumatics, vibratory bowls, rotary/turntables, PLC-based controls, and robotic elements. Diagnose and repair faults across hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems to minimize downtime. Develop and sustain procedures by evaluating operating practices, documentation, and control mechanisms; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Respond promptly to service requests from production and other departments, ensuring timely communication and resolution. Adhere to company standards and policies; report safety concerns immediately and follow Lockout/Tagout during service. Leverage Lean Manufacturing methods to increase productivity and eliminate waste. Participate in design reviews, acceptance, and tryouts for new equipment; support prototype product development. Work overtime as business needs dictate to support factory schedules and project completions. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned. Reporting Reports to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager or designee.
