About The Position

Production Equipment Maintenance Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina on Variable shift. Position Responsibilities: Performs maintenance on factory equipment Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment Responds to requests for equipment repair Maintains and manages components and replacement part inventories Works under limited supervision This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC (BSC). Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Availability to work variable shifts, with the understanding that your assigned shift will not be confirmed until after training 1+ year of aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication experience 1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design) 1+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design) 3+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
