About The Position

Production Equipment Maintenance Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Production Equipment Maintenance Manager (Level K) to join the Production Equipment Maintenance Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Production Equipment Maintenance (PEM) Leadership Team supporting the 787 program. This position is responsible for all production equipment maintenance aspects for the 787 program.

Requirements

  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing a team
  • 3+ years of experience in a production/factory environment
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Manages employee activities within Production Equipment Maintenance (PEM) including equipment maintenance, repair and overhaul, preventive and predictive maintenance, maintenance planning and scheduling, maintenance projects, parts ordering
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.
