About The Position

BASIC POSITION FUNCTION: Responsible for technical/production support, of aerospace and aero-derivative gas turbine component repairs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/TASKS: On-Site Support for creation of Process, Methods, and Router Documentation, for Manufacturing and/or Repair product lines. Learn processes, technical principles, equipment operation, and operational work-scope. Engage with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Safety departments, to implement process improvements projects. Develop and establish effective procedures/documentation to enforce process improvements. Engage with Production Engineers and facilitate induction of transferred or new tooling, fixturing, gaging, and equipment. Maintain qualification per project plan and coordinate activities to ensure on-time development. Complete database updates for turnaround (TAT) and Operational Steps by executing time studies on existing and new processes.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a college degree seeking student in AS (Associate of Science), AES (Associate of Engineering Science), or BS (Bachelor of Science), program
• Ability to work on-site

• Prior work experience
