About The Position

The Quality Engineer Intern will support the Quality Assurance function by participating in root cause analysis, review of flow process diagrams, PFMEAs, control plans, internal audits, identifying and implementing quality improvements in manufacturing, packaging, logistics, internal audits, cost efficiency, and productivity. The role will also assist in data analysis and formal presentation to the business leadership on KPIs and critical to quality issues and improvements. The paid internship will be 13 weeks in duration for the summer of 2026 with flexible start dates. Student interns must be able to work full-time. The internship will be split between a major project and daily tasks. Housing will not be provided for the internship

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. Related degrees may be considered.
• Completed at least two years of college education before beginning internship.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
• Strong academic performance minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA and extracurricular achievement.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
• Demonstrated communication and leadership skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven track record of adaptability, innovation, initiative and integrity.
• Must have legal U.S. working authorization to participate in the program.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment screening process.
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Work with the Quality Assurance team to identify improvement opportunities in safety, environmental, quality, cost, and productivity areas.
• Assist with plan to maintain document control process in the Quality Management system, root cause analysis and problem solving of quality issues
• Help to identify gaps in processes or training courses
• Provide a formal presentation on activities, successes, and opportunities to business leadership.
