About The Position

The Taylor & Francis Philadelphia journals production department is seeking an entry level full-time Production Editor to work on our diverse list of academic journals. This position is primarily focused on project management responsibilities. While the role requires familiarity with writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills, these activities constitute only a minor portion of the daily responsibilities. Candidates should expect to apply their communication expertise primarily in a project management capacity rather than in content creation or editorial functions. Production Editors are the core position within the production department at Taylor & Francis. As such, Production Editors are assigned a group of journals that they are responsible for from receipt of manuscripts through print/online publication. The Production Editor role is perfect for someone who enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish and thrives in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
