About The Position

The Dry Warehouse Reconciler ensures complete accuracy of dry goods inventory through systematic verification, auditing, and documentation. This position performs cycle counts, reconciles variances, verifies the accuracy of inbound and outbound materials, and maintains lot-level traceability in Deacom. The role supports Production, Purchasing, and Shipping/Receiving by ensuring real-time inventory accuracy to meet production demand, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement goals.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile physical inventory with Deacom records to maintain accurate, real-time inventory data.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycle counts; prepare documentation for full physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances, including mis-picks, mis-ships, mislabels, expired product, damaged goods, or system/scan errors.
  • Verify inbound shipments against purchase orders, including quantities, lot numbers, packaging integrity, and expiration dates.
  • Validate outbound shipments by confirming pallet tags, load sheets, lot allocation, and FIFO/FEFO compliance.
  • Maintain accurate lot tracking, bin assignments, and item locations for all dry goods.
  • Conduct routine spot-check audits to ensure real-time accuracy and identify process issues.
  • Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, short-dated, or damaged inventory and communicate risks promptly.
  • Prepare daily and weekly reconciliation reports and maintain audit-ready records for traceability and SQF/compliance purposes.
  • Support mock recalls and traceability exercises by supplying accurate lot tracking data.
  • Correct ERP/Deacom transaction errors and submit inventory adjustments with appropriate approvals.
  • Coordinate with Production to ensure required materials are staged, available, and accurately issued.
  • Communicate shortages, overages, and discrepancies to Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse Leadership.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping, allergen control, and GMP compliance within the dry warehouse.
  • Verify that forklift/pallet jack drivers and warehouse staff follow proper scanning, lot selection, and material handling procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce variances, and streamline warehouse workflows.
