Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a OCB Crew Member at our manufacturing plant in Richmond, VA. Pay: $21.35 / hour Responsibilities Your Role: As an OCB Crew Member, you will be responsible for the quality and productivity in the operation of a bag making line consisting of a bag machine, cartoner, case packer & palletizer, which produces various sizes of finished nylon cooking bags. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Safety - Understand and carry out oral instructions; read and carry out written instructions.
Ability to retain and act on oral instructions.
Ability to observe and read instruments gauges, dials and make adjustments.
Ability to estimate size and quantity of objects.
Ability to constantly observe for quality defects as well as subtle problems with machine.
Ability to make simple arithmetic calculations.
Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.

Nice To Haves

Experience with packaging lines, films, etc
Previous manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Safely operate bag machine, cartoner, case packing machine & palletizer and log machine activity.
Inspect/perform tests for quality issues related to seal integrity, legible print, finished product dimensions, and other critical properties.
Set-up bag making line and maintain log, determine operating conditions, make adjustments and correct malfunctions.
Safely operate hand and fork truck when needed
Perform other crew member functions deemed necessary by management.
Perform general housekeeping.
Willingness to cross train to advance skills
