About The Position

The Production Coordinator will coordinate and perform daily production, shipping, scheduling, and clerical/administrative duties. The Production Coordinator must be familiar with all equipment utilized in the manufacturing process as well as troubleshooting potential equipment malfunctions. In addition to own areas of responsibility, the Production Coordinator will assume responsibility to support plant operators, and back up the site manager as necessary.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent is preferred.
  • One or more years' experience leading a team is preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve production and quality control issues.
  • Strong commitment to safety is required with experience in EH&S initiatives.
  • Ability to understand and follow all written work instructions, oral instructions, read various measuring devices, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to lead by example and a willingness to participate as a team member across all functions of the business.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal to moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates daily work activities for admixture production site.
  • Maintains production and shipping documentation.
  • Maintains QC documentation and QA calibration records.
  • Responsible for administrative duties within ERP system. This includes maintaining inventory, production, quality, and shipping through daily post goods issue reporting.
  • Responsible for goods receipt, coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.
  • Fully understands and completes all mandatory environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) training.
  • Coordinates EH&S activities as designated by the Site Manager.
  • Supports the Site Manager with on-the-job training to assure all employees are adequately trained and adhered to policies/procedures.
  • Assures the plant is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
  • Actively participate in sites preventative maintenance program.
  • Operate forklift to perform various responsibilities.
  • Responsible for testing of raw materials and finished products, labeling, record retention, and sample retention in quality laboratory.
  • Responsible for all plant activities and primary plant contact in the best interest of the company during the absence of the Site Manager.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and required by the company.
