About The Position

Truestone is looking for a Production Controller to work in Tobyhanna, PA. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! This is a first shift 9/80 schedule. The position supports TYAD's sustainment mission which may include design, fabrication, repair and overhaul of hundreds of electronic systems. Items may include satellite terminals, radio and radar systems, telephones, electro-optics, night vision and anti-intrusion devices, airborne surveillance equipment, navigational instruments, electronic warfare, and guidance and control systems for tactical missiles. Responsibilities include the development of new prototype C-E systems or downsizing of existing systems, scheduling and rescheduling work orders, implementing production schedules, and maintaining communication between the shop floor and the Commodity Workload Management Divisions. The role may involve asset management or capacity management responsibilities. Work is primarily sedentary with some light physical demands.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust background check.
  • Must be able to pass a Drug test prior to start.
  • Minimum of 1 year doing Production Controller work.
  • Must be able to follow both written and oral instructions.
  • Must be computer literate and able to function with basic MS Office applications and SAP programs.

Responsibilities

  • Supports TYAD's sustainment mission including design, fabrication, repair and overhaul of electronic systems.
  • Schedules and reschedules work orders.
  • Implements daily, weekly and monthly production schedules in assigned production shops.
  • Communicates daily and weekly schedule requirements from the Master Scheduler to the shop supervisor.
  • Creates the capacity plan for the preparation of the Master Schedule.
  • Maintains communication between the shop floor and the Commodity Workload Management Divisions.
  • May function in an asset management role or a capacity management role.
  • Performs manufacturing process planning for production work centers.
  • Observes and analyzes production operations to improve schedules and determine causes of delays.
  • Coordinates with support organizations during preplanning and execution phases.
