About The Position

Airtech International is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Controller to join their manufacturing team in Springfield, TN. This key role will support production planning, scheduling, and inventory coordination to ensure efficient manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment producing high-performance composite materials and vacuum bagging products. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in production control, planning, scheduling, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management principles
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities with high attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfortable working with manufacturing software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • Experience in a high mix or custom oriented production environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods; coordinate with purchasing and production teams to avoid shortages or overstock.
  • Track production progress, identify bottlenecks, and communicate status updates to supervisors and relevant departments.
  • Generate reports on production metrics, including output, efficiency, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Assist in capacity planning and forecasting for upcoming production runs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production control processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with quality, engineering, and materials teams to resolve scheduling or material-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems and ensure data integrity.
