About the position
The Production Controller will be responsible for expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules. This role involves maintaining factory orders, updating records, and assisting in identifying and correcting shortages. The position requires collaboration with production, procurement, and engineering departments to address potential issues effectively.
Responsibilities
- Expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments according to production and shipping schedules.
- Maintain factory orders and update records as necessary.
- Assist in determining possible and actual shortages and initiate corrective actions.
- Alert appropriate authorities regarding potential problems and recommend remedial actions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Production Control.
- Ability to lift 30-50 lb. hardware.
- Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in SAP ERP System.
- Experience in GOLD Government Tracking System.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree.
