The Opportunity Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Production Control Specialist to join our team in Machined Parts. The Production Control Specialist will perform production control work as directed by Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader. Additionally, the Production Control Specialist will:

Requirements

  • High School or GED required and a minimum of 6 months experience in scheduling, computer skills, hardware management, etc.
  • Effective interaction with team members, customers and all levels of management.
  • Reads, understands and correctly interprets basic blueprint drawings.
  • Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. from floor to waist. (Note - must use a lift assist or assistance from other individual(s) when lifting in excess of 50 lbs.)
  • Must be capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 lbs.
  • Must have grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

  • Review MRP release requirements, i.e., Planned Shop Requisitions.
  • Review material availability for Shop Requisitions to be released.
  • Creates, releases, reserves, issues and receives Shop Orders (Manufacturing and Repair).
  • Creates, releases, reserves, picks, delivers and receives Material Transfer Requisitions.
  • Process miscellaneous material transactions including scrap, cycle counts, adjustments, etc.
  • Physically manages all material movement and disposition related to cell activity.
  • Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, at a minimum, all elements defined in the Company`s Quality Policy.
