About The Position

Production Control will fulfill and process parts from incoming shipments, participate in inventory management, and help manage/communicate order flow in the shop.

Requirements

• Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be reliable and ability to remain confidential.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft programs, including Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with ERP Systems.
• Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Enters receipt data in the inventory control system.
• Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all deliveries according to policy and notifies recipient.
• Records, reports, and returns defective items.
• Performs inventory counts and completes required paperwork.
• Assists with LTL shipments as needed.
• Supports inventory management by issuing material as needed.
• Distributes/manages job folders.
• Tracks orders on shop floor and in ERP system.
• Identify & resolve issues that are delaying orders (order expediting).
• Updating spreadsheets for status of orders.
• Helps communicate priorities for shop workstations.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
