About The Position

The NAPC (Production Control Department) Production Control Specialist is responsible for evaluating sale requirements, scheduling and planning production related to FRM, PT, Service or In-house lines in order to meet the overall company Seihan Strategy. The Production Control Specialist will evaluate the overall plan, assess and create optimal production plans that support both in house departments and supply chain departments. Production Control Specialist is responsible to set model rotations and assign new models accordingly. Production Control Specialist will engage with internal Departments and External customers to confirm line setting meets the needs of the customer and production plans are being executed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 0-2 years’ relevant work experience
  • Organized, Microsoft Proficient, detail oriented, problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate North American Production requirements, create, execute, and manage daily / weekly / monthly production schedules for all sites based on overall Seihan plan and sale requirements.
  • Review daily reports then go to the spot (Genba) to understand situation, support action for resolution of issues. PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) where needed.
  • Communicate production volumes and model mix strategies to internal / external parties.
  • Manage and analyze invoicing and inventory balances (FR, Eng, Inbound, and Outbound).
  • Schedule and coordinate production weekend activity for the sites based on sales demand and overall production plan based on judgement need.
  • Create Midterm and Ki production schedules thru evaluation of optimal planning and work with each site on execution.
  • Negotiate optimal schedules with In-house department to meet service sales needs.
  • Support mass production build-out and new model trial event management activity to ensure quality and accuracy of data with minimal supply chain impact for event/mass production readiness.
