Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ experience in production control, capacity planning, and constraint management in large enterprises (materials, electronics, automotive and other industries).
  • Proficient in using office software, familiar with ERP or SAP systems.
  • Excellent data analysis ability.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Experience building interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar, highly preferred.
  • Experience in Automation of routine analysis and reporting functions, along with building robust data pipelines to support teams
  • Experience converting demand forecasts into executable schedules and identifying/driving mitigation actions against constraints.
  • At least 5 years of experience in large manufacturing enterprises.
  • Familiarity with the operational process of manufacturing, with an understanding of quality management, process optimization, and overall organization.

Responsibilities

  • Production Control: Co-lead and develop efficient Production Operation Plans (OP Plans) for the Blue Oval Battery Park Plant.
  • Manage daily/weekly production scheduling, aligning with capacity and constraints.
  • Coordinate with Sales for order allocation and contingency planning.
  • Provide comprehensive ERP (SAP) system support, including MRP development and deployment.
  • Ensure Just-in-Time (JIT) material flow, adapting to production changes.
  • Capacity Planning: Analyze near-term demand changes and utilize the Global Capacity Planning (GCP) system for capacity assessment.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and STA for supplier supportability and manage tool funding/ordering.
  • Constraints Management: Monitor, report, and manage global shared constraints, developing interim support plans with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Scheduling to manage demand and allocate constrained commodities.
  • Generate management reports to drive constraint resolution decisions.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Ensure ERP (SAP) data accuracy and generate comprehensive production performance reports.
  • Develop inventory/cost reduction roadmaps and support system improvements.
  • Team Meetings & Continuous Improvement: Lead and attend key team meetings, communicating critical updates.
  • Prioritize issues, allocate resources, and support internal/external audits and compliance programs.
  • Data visualization & analytics Experience building interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Looker Studio or similar.
  • Automation of routine analysis and reporting functions along with building robust data pipelines to support.
  • Strong capability in data cleansing/transformations and presenting insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Other: Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, to meet production demands.
