About The Position

HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. It is Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass-production plant and is an innovative plant with cutting-edge production technology applied.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering major preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
• Domestic / International travel required.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree in a related field preferred
• Years of experience from Automotive industry strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or modify production plans and implement them.
• Analyze demand and forecasting of production
• Develop daily or weekly production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met
• Establish mid- & long-term production plan reflecting production capacity and constraints.
• Monitor and control progress of production.
• Inform other Units of any changes in production plans and update documents accordingly.
• Prepare status and performance reports, and resolve production issues
• Regularly communicate with other production Units for the sake of information sharing.
• Meet all other requirements as assigned.
