Leidos’ Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing Facility is seeking a talented Production Control Planner Scheduler to join our team located in Colorado Springs, CO. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics or business with at least 4 years in a production planning role with use of an EPR system (CostPoint Preferred).
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience in using an MES.
- Previous experience using Microsoft Project.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to lead meetings.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Nice To Haves
- 5 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters degree with 2-4 years experience.
- A working knowledge of Deltek CostPoint.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- Experience using Solumina MES.
- Prior experience with multi-resource scheduling (Experience in a CNC machining environment is a plus).
- Active Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Planning and managing timelines for manufacturing processes to ensure timely production and delivery of goods.
- Manage order demand for assigned programs within CostPoint (Inventory Reservations CMR, or MRP).
- Maintain a 6 week production schedule for assigned programs using Microsoft Project and Deltek Cost Point.
- Interact with internal departments to coordinate execution of production schedule.
- Print Manufacturing Orders in support of production schedule.
- Create and track Purchase Order delivery schedule.
- Conduct status meetings with internal and external customers.
- Perform capacity analysis for required equipment and coordinate its use.
- Work continually to drive improvements to on time delivery.
