About The Position

This position works closely with the Production Managers and General Manager and Account Managers, Permit Specialists, and Project Managers to coordinate production schedules to minimize production disruptions, ensure client satisfaction and meet ADCON’s business objectives. Manages and follows up on project scheduling to ensure efficient production and delivery of all projects. Communicates timelines with necessary personnel as needed.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years’ experience in production and/or production control.
  • Proficient – advanced computer knowledge – Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Advanced mathematical skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage tight deadlines.
  • Teamwork skills, ability to focus, problem solve, make decisive decisions, multi-task, and self-start.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Nice To Haves

  • General ERP experience, preferred.
  • Ability to develop and execute at both strategic and tactical levels.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
  • Maintain the master schedule and communicate with appropriate team members if there are changes that need to be made.
  • Publish and distribute weekly master schedule report.
  • Conduct the weekly scheduling meeting with essential personnel required to coordinate fabrication, shipment, and installation with client’s project deadlines.
  • Review weekly Chipotle construction schedule reports and revise ADCON master schedule accordingly.
  • Generate and distribute changes to appropriate ADCON personnel.
  • Revise schedule according to work order specifications, establish priorities, demand, and capacity.
  • Maintain and transmit any weekly reporting required by Chipotle (Weekly Supplier Update Report).
  • Coordinate with Project Management Team
  • Assign projects to Project Managers as they are sold.
  • Monitor progress of assigned projects.
  • Integrate project plans into the master schedule.
  • Set up and maintain all projects in the Project Management module in Epicor.
  • Set up new projects
  • Update the module as change orders and date changes occur.
  • Update module notes.
  • Move projects to “complete” status when billing is finalized.
  • Generate and distribute monthly revenue opportunity forecast with input from General Manager or Project Managers.
  • Monitor billings against this forecast, follow up as needed.
  • File shipping photos in the appropriate project folder (G Drive).
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Shipping Department for potential cost savings on Chipotle freight by combining shipments when possible.
  • Conduct general follow ups with all departments as needed to ensure continued forward movement of projects, to include follow-ups on:
  • Required approvals (client, landlord, municipal, etc.)
  • Job releases
  • Change orders
  • Others as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of parts and materials needed to complete production (Kanban or stock items).
  • Expedite production of spare parts and establish delivery dates for spare parts orders (Kanban or stock items).
  • Confer with Production Manager to resolve problems affecting production schedules.
  • Monitor and maintain ADCON’s high standards of quality.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of ADCON’s safety policies and procedures.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the total process flow.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as proportions, percentages, volume, and other basic algebra concepts.
  • Ability to problem solve and consider client impact when making decisions.
  • Compliance with company safety program and dress code.
