The pay range is $95,000-108,000 per year and benefits include PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, and a 401k with up to 4% match. What you’ll do as the Production Control Manager: Oversee all Production Control department activities and drive improvements in the efficiency and accuracy of information and material flow to and from Coordinators. Coach, mentor, and train all direct reports. Promote talent, growth, and productivity through coaching and cross-training. Take accountability for your department and team; work to quickly resolve any challenges. Create or improve standard practices for identifying and raising the visibility of stalled (open/aging) MOs, process bottlenecks, and anticipated or real delays in production. Use 5 Why’s, A3s, and other Lean tools to identify opportunities for process improvement and see through to completion, including development, implementation, and revision of Standard Work. Conduct regular reviews of the Scheduling Workbook while providing scheduling advice to the Production Planning Team. Act as the Department Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the implementation of production-related software. (with support from the IT and Business Systems teams) Develop and maintain departmental KPI reporting to track production, efficiency, accuracy, quality, and other issues on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and/or annual basis. Interview, hire, train, and develop team members including regular employee performance reviews. Review timecards and paid time off requests on a daily basis. Create and manage performance improvement plans as needed. Promote best practices and lead by example. Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5S principals. Work safely. Follow all directions and procedures and enforce the use of appropriate PPE as needed. Demonstrate our core values: Teamwork – Readily share knowledge and work together across teams/departments.
