About The Position

We are looking for a Production Control Coordinator, EP to join our Target Rock team. Under minimal supervision, the Production Control (PC) Planner assists in the daily planning movement of hardware products through the manufacturing, inspection, test, and shipping areas to meet established delivery schedules. Complies and releases prepared manufacturing documentation, including work orders (standard and non-standard), operation sheets, and design documentation to the production floor. The PC Planner utilizes sales orders and engineering releases to supply completed detail and sub-assembly parts for fulfillment of Spares Orders. Responsible for determining and ordering required materials, prepares in-housework orders, generates requisitions for procured components, coordinates required work activities so the project program will be completed to scheduled requirements. Location: East Farmingdale, NY Hourly rate: $30 Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in New York. Requirements

  • High School graduate or Equivalent
  • 2-3 Years relevant work experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintains control of inventory of materials received and distributed through manufacturing shop.
  • Generates cycle counts and prepares requisitions for tools and supplies.
  • Issues materials from inventory to jobs
  • Assists with shipping and receiving in crating/ packing parts for shipment.
  • Ensures material delivery to and from shipping and receiving.
  • Must be able to work independently and make own decisions.
  • Reading and understanding applicable drawings and procedures to determine contract requirements.
  • Generation and maintenance of outstanding material logs.
  • Selection/ordering of raw materials.
  • Initiation of requisitions for procurement of materials, detail parts and services including coordination of materials/parts shipments to vendors, as required.
  • Initiation and maintenance of work orders, including preparation of shop packages, material pick list, material verification and serial number assignment.
  • Continuous maintenance and timely implementation of contractual changes as identified on project and/or engineering releases.
  • As required, coordination with and expediting of internal/external personnel to ensure product support in a timely manner.
  • Identification of product shortages and other bottlenecks which may adversely affect production flow.
  • Maintenance and closeout of inventory and WIP closed projects.
  • Conducting preliminary inventory reviews for quotation purposes.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
