About The Position

As a Production Control Associate, you'll play a critical role in supporting high impact manufacturing operations at Lockheed Martin's Greenville, SC site. This is an excellent opportunity for early career professionals who want hands on exposure to complex production systems, cross functional leadership, and real time decision making in a fast paced aerospace environment. You'll work closely with experienced production leaders, engineers, and operations teams to help ensure daily build and quality objectives are met. In this role, you'll gain practical experience in production, production planning, enterprise requirements planning, supply chain logistics, material flow, data analysis, and problem solving, while developing a strong understanding of how large scale manufacturing organizations operate. What You Will Be Doing Support daily production execution by monitoring work readiness, material availability, and schedule alignment Track and drive resolution of material shortages, constraints, and priority issues impacting production flow Assist with planning activities, including requests for changes, kit readiness, and short-range scheduling Analyze production and material data to generate metrics that support leadership decision making Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and quality teams Learn and apply lean, continuous improvement, and operational excellence principles What’s In It For You: 3 day weekends every weekend! Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree or 2 years relevant experience in production control, manufacturing operations, supply chain, logistics, or material management Ability to analyze operational data and communicate insights, including experience with spreadsheets (Excel or equivalent), basic reporting, or data tracking Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cross functionally with multiple teams. Desired skills Experience or coursework exposure to ERP or MRP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Costpoint, or similar tools) Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups) Yellow or Greenbelt in Lean Six Sigma Demonstrated ability to identify constraints, assess tradeoffs, and recommend solutions Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present information to both technical and non-technical audiences Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to take ownership of problems through resolution Basic understanding of manufacturing or production environments, including scheduling, material flow, work-in-process, or shop floor operations Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $49,700 - $87,515. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
