Production Cell Lead
About The Position
The Cell Leader, is responsible for scheduling production, ensuring the required materials are available for the cell, and problem-solving and providing performance feedback regarding cell members to the Production Supervisor. Here’s where you’ll demonstrate your proficiencies: Schedules and prioritizes orders through cells. Reviews the demand exception report daily and makes necessary adjustments Handles shortage, rush, and special production issues. Provides performance appraisal input to supervisors. Maintains the integrity and accuracy of the cell QDIP boards. Responsible for cell housekeeping and 5S program support. Works with supervisor to coordinate vacation schedules. Acts as scheduling coordinator contact across facility. Assures cell associate compliance with standard work. Assists supervisor in the training of cell associates.
Requirements
- Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong influence and collaboration skills.
- Excellent planning & organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Aptitude for operating a computer keyboard.
- Aptitude for working from blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer orders.
