Candidates with Weld Experience Highly Desired PERMANENT POSITION AT HONDA –North Carolina Manufacturing - PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE NEW STARTING PAY: $20.19 PLUS SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL FOR 2ND AND 3RD SHIFTS $1.10 PER HOUR Wage increases every six months until top out wage of $26.53 This is a Direct Hire program with Honda – North Carolina Manufacturing Under supervision of a Line Support Staff this position will be working on the assembly line at Honda - North Carolina Manufacturing performing various production assembly processes for Power Sports and Products. Production Associates working in Welding, Painting, Material Service and Assembly positions at Honda – North Carolina Manufacturing. operate power tools, paint spray guns, welders, and the possibility of operating ATV’s. Associates may be assigned to different workstations as production assembly needs change.

Requirements

Manufacturing Experience: At least 12 months of experience in a manufacturing environment within the last 5 years (no experience required for military veterans and modern manufacturing certificate graduates)
Ability to pass urinalysis drug screen and physical examination.
Willing to submit to a background check.
Punctual and Dependable Attendance

Nice To Haves

Welding Experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all policies and procedures including safety, attendance, behavior, and performance.
Working in an environment that requires personal protective equipment to be worn and follow all safety standards
Responsible for understanding and following operation standards
Responsible for understanding and following all standard work procedures
Responsible for identifying and reporting abnormal conditions of product and equipment
Participate in product improvement activity such as defect analysis and quality improving
Work as a team and be assigned to different work task to complete production or other assignments required. Bend, twist, lift, stand, walk, reach, see, move, and hear as required by specific department.
