Your Opportunity: The Herff Jones Covers Operations team is looking for a Seasonal Production Associate to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This is a regular, Seasonal position with the possibility of converting to a full-time associate post season depending on job performance, attendance and department availability. Shift: Standard shift is 6:00am - 3:45pm Monday through Friday. Shifts may vary depending on the season and customer demands. Hours can fluctuate to ten - twelve- hour days if needed during peak season including Saturdays and Sundays if necessary due to customer demand. Seasons vary between January through the end of May. We live and work in a team environment and rely heavily on each other to assist across a variety of functions. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous success in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated success in going above and beyond to help the team achieve a goal.
Previous success maintaining a strong attendance and on time record.

Nice To Haves

Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own your part of the daily team goal, be it inspecting items for quality, packing product into boxes, moving material, production assistance, etc.
Approach everything you do with a quality mindset and adhere to a defined maximum scrap rate on items produced.
Read and adhere to a detailed work ticket and record production information for each ticket worked.
Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Assisting in the production and distribution of printed goods (Diplomas, Graduation Announcements, Thank You Cards, etc.).
Perform all assigned work effectively and on schedule.
Record any quality or scrap issues.
Notify team lead of any issues that arise during the shift.
Notify supervisor of any safety concerns or quality issues.
Team player and do what it takes attitude when other duties are assigned based on business demand.
