Job Summary Expedites operations that delay schedules and/or alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Resolves issues related to production, machinery, processing, and/or packaging operations. Ensures quality control standards are maintained. In addition to performing assembly line functions, also calibrates equipment and maintains tools.
Nice To Haves
- Extensive knowledge of all types of machinery.
- Two-year technical degree in the area of electronics or electrical design.
- Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas.
Responsibilities
- Determines schedules, distributes work, routes trucks, and communicates procedures.
- Interprets machine logs, collects data, sets up new machines for test, trouble shoots machine failures, and interprets error codes.
- Informs supervisor of staff, safety, defective product or mechanical issues.
- Ensures all safety standards are met by work group.
