Warner Electric, part of Altra (AIMC), is seeking new team members for a Production Associate role in their manufacturing facility in Columbia City, IN. Preferred experience with manufacturing assembly or similar processes
Preferred experience with measuring instruments such as micrometers and height gauges

Responsibilities

Willingness to work in production areas on various operations within assembly; such as cell manufacturing, basic CNC operation, washing, painting, robotics, and other duties as assigned
Selects, aligns, and secures tooling, accessories, and materials on machines, such as hydraulic presses, burnish/test machines, assembly fixtures, air or electric power tools and magnetizers
Performs standard work and uses process control methods, inputs appropriate settings, adjusts and calibrates equipment as needed to complete the manufacturing process
Perform quality checks on products and parts.
Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly, using measuring instruments, such as micrometers and height gauges
Willingness to learn standard processes within manufacturing, changeovers and inspection and maintains applicable records
Communicates with other associates and departments as needed to deliver product to meet customer expectations
Performs routine preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
