PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE $20.83/hr 2ND AND 3RD SHIFT 2nd :1:45-10p, 3rd :9:45p-6a (Must be able to train for 3 weeks on 1st shift) HIRING NOW Great Benefits FULL TIME VETERANS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY Primary Responsibility To assist the Operator and Assistant Operator in the setup & operate, when necessary, any piece of equipment to run a corrugated box to meet customer specifications.

Requirements

  • Must be able to train for 3 weeks on 1st shift
  • Read and understand SAFETY RULES & HOUSEKEEPING GUIDELINES and receive training in proper operating procedures.
  • Lockout procedures

  • Conveyor safety
  • Lifting and pushing/pulling
  • Safety guards, gates & chains
  • Perform daily cleanup of area
  • Dump trash as needed
  • Perform extra clan up during downtime
  • Follow cleaning schedule listed in Safety Manual
  • Keep scrap picked up
  • Read & use Factory Order & Print Card to determine proper equipment settings
  • Ability to know if equipment is operating properly
  • Set stacker
  • Install dies, attachments & printing plates
  • Set pull rolls, collars & straps
  • Set scores, heads & blade combinations
  • Set Prefeeder & Lead Edge Feeder
  • Check stock for correct size
  • Adjust equipment for proper pressures & register
  • Operate glue and ink systems
  • Set folding rails, squaring section & ejector
  • Flexo Folder Gluer equipment
  • Computer input terminal
  • Quality test equipment
  • 1st piece dimensional checks
  • 1st piece print quality checks
  • Random checks during run for dimensions & print
  • Ink color & viscosity
  • 1st piece visual check - fold box complete
  • If major problem- shut machine down & notify supervisor
  • Push interrupt buttons
  • Verbal
  • Hand signals
  • Ability to read and do basic math
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
