Production Associate/Quality Control Job Description: This position is responsible for monitoring and ensuring quality control for all garments produced and it will perform a variety of routine and repetitive inspection and procedures as required and defined by approved production for all embroider, heat press and alteration orders. Will work under the direction of the Store Manager and with team members when garments need to be reworked.

  • Must be a fast learner and be able to multitask.
  • Must have a sense of urgency.
  • Must demonstrate good judgment and be always professional.
  • Must have visual acuity for analyzing color.
  • Must learn tasks quickly, be detailed oriented, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection of finished garments.
  • Reads and understands work orders and profiles to determine that each order is processed correctly.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to keep track of multiple work orders specifications, location special notes of embroidery, alteration, and heat press art.
  • Keep the work area clean, orderly, and organized.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment.
  • Reviews work orders, observes specifications, location, and any special notes for all embroidery, alteration, and heat press orders.
  • Works as part of a team to achieve operational, quality goals and objectives.
  • Sort, count, and fold garments by size/color/garment style.
