We're looking for dedicated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Jockey Driver associate, you'll play a crucial role in yard management by accurate and timely transfer of trailers to and from holding and processing areas.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Reading and writing skills required.
  • At least 1 year of continuous work experience in similar role using similar equipment
  • Must have a valid Class D drivers license.
  • Must obtain and maintain powered industrial truck license through company training

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years' experience in a distribution warehouse preferred.
  • Valid CDL License

Responsibilities

  • Operates jockey truck transferring trailers to and from the processing area. The task requires maneuvering in and out of the vehicle up to a height of 4 feet every 1/2 hour.
  • Ensures that trailers are processed in the order designated by management.
  • Ensures that YMS (Yard Management System) is updated and policy followed. Keeping the yard organized and in order.
  • Performs pre-op inspection of vehicle and post-op cleaning on a daily basis.
  • Yard checks are done periodically. Communicates with the gate, the dock office and management.
