About The Position

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. The CDL Class B Driver role is a daily route position, responsible for operating commercial motor vehicle in compliance with FMCSA regulations to transport goods on public highways and company property. They are also responsible for moving, stacking, and unloading all forms of C.H.I. doors and products at their destinations, including C.H.I. service centers and dealer locations. This is a physically demanding position which will involve lifting 80+ pounds in a unique trailer environment. This could include using forklifts, jacks, carts, racks, pallets, moving boxes, packages, or other support components. All runs originate and terminate in Derry, NH.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a valid CDL-B license
Possess a valid DOT Medical Card or be eligible to receive one prior to hire
Be willing & able to travel to Arthur, Illinois for 1 week of training
