About The Position

The Stacker is responsible for efficiently stacking packed boxes onto pallets (skids) for shipment via UPS, FedEx, or other carriers. This role ensures that all outgoing shipments are organized, labeled correctly, and prepared for timely pickup.  Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, or similar. Training may occur other times.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency, preferred
  • One to three months related experience in a manufacturing environment or prior warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience
  • The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • No prior direct experience required.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read and write in English
  • Effectively communicate with all members of the organization
  • Ability to cross train and work in other departments and/or machines
  • The job requires constant or frequent standing, walking, squatting, stopping, crouching and reaching
  • May require some kneeling and may require the use of feet to operate machinery
  • Frequent use of hands/fingers to operate machine and/or handle and grasp product
  • Frequent lifting or moving product weighing up to 50 pounds at, below or above shoulder level
  • Vision requirements: close vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and ability to see the differences between colors, shades, and brightness
