About The Position

The Assembler will perform tasks that are necessary for the reconditioning process. The Assembler is responsible for restoring pre-owned or used products to a like-new condition through detailed inspection, cleaning, repair, and quality assurance processes. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow standardized procedures to ensure that all reconditioned items meet company and customer standards. First shift, 8 + hours per day.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming products, parts, or equipment to assess conditions and determine necessary reconditioning steps
  • Perform thorough cleaning, detailing, and cosmetic repairs using appropriate tools and products
  • Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble items using mechanical or electrical tools as required
  • Replace worn or defective components to restore full functionality and safety compliance
  • Ensure all reconditioned items meet quality control standards before release
  • Identify recurring defects and recommend process improvements
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Collaborate with other technicians, supervisors, and inventory teams to meet daily/weekly production goals
