Our employees are actively involved in the design, engineering and manufacture of technologically advanced medical devices that ensure that we meet our customer’s quality specifications for each product we produce. We are looking for Assemblers to join our Greenwood, IN facility on 1st, 2nd, -or- 3rd shift. You will assemble and inspect products prior to delivery. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Mathematical skills to manage units of measure, fractions, decimals, whole numbers
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets to determine set-up and operations to be formed
  • Ability to set-up and operate a Rivet Machine; input and maintain data in Traverse Manufacturing System
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • A quick learner who is always ready to gain depth of knowledge in manufacturing processes
  • A reliable worker who knows the importance of showing up when it counts
  • Accept assignments with open, cooperative, positive and team-oriented attitudes
  • Able to plan and execute plans across teams

Responsibilities

  • Assembles assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with established procedures, standards and blueprint production
  • Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
  • Disassembles, re-works or salvages scrap parts
  • Operates drill presses, hand drills, clicker press or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation
  • May operate forklift upon completing certification requirements
  • Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards; Removes small quantities of metal to produce a smooth finish
  • Inspects product for quality defects including but not limited to: missing brackets, damaged brackets, incorrect artwork, screw gauges, etc.
