Product Transfer Shuttle Driver- Nights
About The Position
Van Eerden Foodservice has a need for a Product Transfer Shuttle Driver- Nights. This role shuttles loaded single trailers from our Grand Rapids Distribution Center to our Flint drop yard, then shuttles an empty trailer to Frog Holler Produce in Detroit for produce to be loaded up, followed by delivering the loaded produce trailer to the Grand Rapids Warehouse. Schedule Night Shift that Departs from Grand Rapids MI. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday- Friday 10pm start time. About the Job: Ensure safe, accurate, timely and efficient deliveries of trailers to and from the Distribution Center (Grand Rapids, MI) to Flint Drop Yard, and Preferred Fresh Cuts in Detroit. Perform daily DOT inspection of equipment. Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance. Perform all work within Company safety practices. Requirements
- 21+ years of age.
- 1 year of experience preferred. May consider candidates with new obtained CDL-A License.
- Meet all DOT requirements for driving, including possession of a valid CDL-A license.
- Doubles Endorsement is preferred.
- Clean Driving Record.
- Must pass a DOT Physical, Drug Scree and Drug Clearinghouse.
- Background check free from felonies.
