About The Position

TrinityRail Maintenance Services is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Product Surface Prep at our Fort Worth, TX facility. The Product Surface Prep (Blaster) position at Trinity involves preparing product surfaces for coating operations by operating various tools and equipment. This role is essential in ensuring that the surfaces are free from contaminants and ready for the application of coatings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience (preferred).
• Must be able to work day or night shift as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate tools or equipment to prepare interior and exterior product surfaces for coating operations.
• Operate automated blast systems and hand-held grit ball blast equipment to remove scale, corrosion, paint, and dirt.
• Purge surfaces of all chemicals and contaminants through simple processes.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• May be involved in committees or initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
