Myers branch. The primary role of this position is to provide OEM and aftermarket parts and service sales throughout the Ft. Myers territory. Travel will be required to establish and maintain relationships with accounts in your area, further strengthening Alta’s partnerships.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience within the equipment industry
  • Strong negotiation, selling and customer service skills
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have valid driver’s license, clean driving record and automobile insurance.
  • Computer programs: Word processing, spreadsheet, accounting and equipment manufacturing technical software
  • Language skills: Intermediate - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Mathematical skills: Intermediate - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning ability: High - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

  • Sales of OEM parts and sales
  • Sales of aftermarket parts and sales
  • Make cold calls to equipment owners in assigned territory and provide growth in sales in those areas
  • Inspection of equipment and providing OEM solutions
  • Education and sales of CareTrack to customers
  • Traveling across customer sites to establish and maintain relationships with accounts, fostering further collaboration and partnership
  • Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time
  • Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned
