Product Support Manager The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big-picture thinking to make an impact in the DoD? As a Product Support Manager on our team, you’ll work with Booz Allen colleagues and your client to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters. You’ll work with our clients to evaluate, redesign, and analyze their system life cycle and product support policies, processes, and documents. Using your understanding of the DoDI 5000.2, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of data analysts, financial managers, systems engineers, and logisticians to ensure life cycle and product support policy and documentation reflect DoD guidance and directives. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with integration and logistics planning of space programs, including space, ground, software, and hardware systems, and Major Defense Acquisition Programs
  • Experience with DoD life cycle logistics in a product support organization
  • Experience developing DoD product support documents, including Requirements Approval Document (RAD), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS BCA), Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) Decisions, and Depot Activations
  • Experience leading integration, schedule, and logistics forums, including logistics working groups, Depot Maintenance Activation Working Groups (DMAWG), provisioning conferences, and Product Improvement Working Group (PIWG) meetings
  • Experience using Platform 1 data repository, JIRA and Confluence, and Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience advising senior government officials and synchronizing geographically dispersed teams
  • Ability to conduct initial training on JIRA and Confluence platforms
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Independent Logistics Assessment (ILA) Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with space-based remote sensing systems
  • Experience with Integration processes, including Project Integration Kick-offs (PIK), Project Installation and Checkouts (PICO), System Integration Boards (SIB), and the Enterprise Scheduling Group (ESG)
  • Experience with authorship of authoritative sustainment guidebooks, articles, whitepapers, and briefings
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02
  • Knowledge of the military service’s sustainment hierarchy, including program offices, program executive offices, hardware and supply systems commands, and defense agencies
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree
