We are looking for a Product Specialist to lead a critical initiative at the intersection of technology and organizational scale. In this role, you will not just be part of the AI revolution; you will implement it firsthand within our company.
Your mission is to create leverage. Relay is growing rapidly, and we need to integrate and build tools that give our teams the leverage to scale. You will own the strategy and execution for our internal AI transformation, acting as the bridge between our business teams and the cutting-edge capabilities of Generative AI.
This is a unique hybrid role: part Product Manager for our proprietary internal tools, and part Internal Consultant driving the adoption of third-party AI solutions. You will work directly with stakeholders across the organization to identify high-value bottlenecks, decide when to "buy" vs. "build," and help construct the data infrastructure and AI agents that will power our next phase of growth.

Requirements

• Technical Aptitude: Computer Science/Computer Engineering degree or similar with 3.0+ GPA.
• AI & Data Fluency: You have strong technical skills, you’ve built applications that leverage AI/ML, and you understand how to build and integrate MCPs into an agent application.
• Internal Consulting Skills: You have strong empathy for users and excellent communication skills. You can walk into a room of non-technical stakeholders, map out their workflows, and identify where automation can help without sounding like you are trying to "replace" them.
• Bias for Action: You are comfortable prototyping ideas quickly. You understand that in the current AI landscape, speed to learning is often more valuable than perfect planning.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with APIs, building software the requires data integration, or analytics tools is highly preferred.
• Experience working with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes or similar a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Internal AI Roadmap: Own the product lifecycle for our suite of internal AI tools. You will define requirements, prioritize features, and manage the backlog for proprietary applications designed to automate complex workflows and surface critical insights.
• Drive AI Adoption & Transformation: Embed yourself within internal teams (such as Sales, Operations, and Support) to understand their daily friction points. You will identify opportunities where AI can create leverage, champion the adoption of new tools, and measure the impact on efficiency and employee satisfaction.
• Manage the "Build vs. Buy" Strategy: Evaluate the rapidly changing landscape of third-party AI SaaS tools. You will determine when an off-the-shelf solution fits our needs and when we must build a custom solution to leverage our unique data.
• Build the Data Foundation: Collaborate closely with Engineering and System Owners to ensure our internal data is accessible, clean, and "AI-ready." You will help design the infrastructure that allows our LLMs to access tribal knowledge and cross-functional context safely and effectively.
• Foster an AI-First Culture: Act as an internal evangelist. You will help demystify AI for non-technical teams, organize internal "AI Fridays" or deep-dive sessions, and help create a culture of continuous learning and experimentation.
