About The Position

Product Sourcing Specialist (Hybrid) | Fremont, CA Role Summary The Product Sourcing Specialist is responsible for sourcing execution and supplier management for mechanical rack systems and accessories supporting hyperscale data center and AI infrastructure programs. This role owns cost, supply continuity, and execution across assigned programs, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to support NPI, volume ramps, and sustaining production.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or procurement, preferably supporting mechanical, rack, or infrastructure hardware.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes including sheet metal, welding, machining, coating, and assembly.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and executing in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Hyperscale data center, server, or rack infrastructure experience.
  • Experience working with ODMs, CMs, or mechanical subtiers.
  • Exposure to tariff mitigation, supply localization, and global manufacturing strategies.
  • Experience supporting NPI and rapid volume ramps.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sourcing and supplier execution for mechanical rack systems and accessories, including cabinets, rails, brackets, cable management, and related hardware.
  • Own supplier cost, lead time, capacity, and delivery commitments, ensuring alignment with program schedules and customer demand.
  • Drive RFQs, pricing reviews, and commercial negotiations with mechanical suppliers, including cost breakdowns, tooling, and change management.
  • Support NPI and production ramps by coordinating supplier readiness, capacity planning, and execution.
  • Manage supplier performance including on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness, and issue resolution.
  • Identify and mitigate supply risks related to capacity, lead time, materials, or tooling in partnership with program, operations, and sourcing leadership.
  • Support geo-economic initiatives including tariff mitigation, supply localization, and out-of-China sourcing strategies as required.
  • Maintain accurate sourcing data including cost, lead time, MOQ, NCNR, and supplier information in internal systems.
  • Provide regular updates on cost, supply risk, and execution status to internal stakeholders.
