About The Position

Experienced Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineering - C Shift) - Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is hiring an Experienced Product Review Engineer ( Liaison Engineer) to join the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) team located in Huntsville, AL . This engineer will perform/support troubleshooting, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) technical analysis and provide solutions to non-conforming products. This position will work directly with cross functional and production engineering teams to meet production program objectives. Boeing Huntsville has multi-year contracts to develop, manufacture, and test the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missile seeker and future improvements. These contracts are driving significant, long-term growth for the PAC-3 engineering team on the Huntsville campus. Shift: This position is for C Shift. C Shift: F/Sa/Su; 3x12 – Starts at 6am Shift may be eligible for a shift differential and subject to availability Position Responsibilities: Applies basic knowledge of Boeing design and/or engineering principles to develop interim or final engineering solutions to product/process issues throughout the production lifecycle Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances Applies engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues to develop interim and final engineering solutions Provides written dispositions for routine design non-conformances Participates in Material Review Boards Represents the engineering community in the production environment, providing lineside support Recommends simple non-destructive test procedures, tools, standards Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards Develops and implements product/process improvements This position may require shift flexibility, based on business needs Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed, based on business needs Non-standard work week options may also be utilized to meet business objectives This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Knowledge of repair concepts and methodologies including standard repair processes, component repair concepts, structural and composite repair procedures, and basic electrical repair procedures, and basic system repair processes
• 3+ years of experience with Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (MRB/LE) Authority (including participating in Material Review Board and Integrated Product Team activities related to repairs)
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime
• This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ year Material Review Board Certification experience
• 5+ years of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
• 5+ years Production engineering experience with relevant technological knowledge.
• Experience in solving simple to complex problems.
• 5+ years Electrical/mechanical system knowledge, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair methodology
• Knowledge of circuit card manufacturing, including Selective Solder and SMT.
• 5 + years Functional system level testing.
