About The Position

The Product Project Manager is a leading performer that manages product management projects and processes and collaborates closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products to market. This role will be responsible for leading and managing cross-functional projects within the product management team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 6-8 years' relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Prior project management experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the flooring industry and flooring product design preferred.
  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.
  • Recognized cross-functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for product initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute projects according to plan, identifying and mitigating risks along the way.
  • Leverage creativity and comprehensive process, technical, or operational understanding to resolve a wide range of issues.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive project success.
  • Define project quality standards and ensure adherence to best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular reviews and quality assessments to ensure that project deliverables meet customer expectations and quality standards. Perform high-level critical thinking, detailed information gathering, and application of business knowledge.
  • Generate fresh perspectives, breakthrough ideas, and new approaches that create value in the market.
  • Proactively investigate and/or lead investigations of alternative approaches, technologies, or partnerships.
  • Collaborate with and may lead functional or cross-functional teams to generate solutions to complex problems.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
